From July 6th to the 8th we have had the pleasure of hosting the Intermountain Farmers Association (IFA) Conference. At this event, local farmers from all over the intermountain region have gathered together in hopes of better serving our communities farm lands. With meetings and exhibits galore these farmers have received an abundance of new knowledge and we’ve enjoyed being apart of every minute of it.
For those of you that may be unfamiliar with IFA, this giving organization began in 1923 by a group of men with an ambitious vision for the future of farming. Organized in Gunnison, Utah the talents of Albertus Willardson, Benjamin Brown, and Clyde Edmonds merged and were immediately recognized by producers as well as groups like the Utah Farm Bureau, the railroad companies and small town businessmen looking to improve the economy of their community through livestock and agriculture. Since that time, this company has flourished and become a preeminent agricultural supply company that offers consulting in both agronomy and feed in hopes of helping intermountain farmers be successful in raising livestock and crops within this region.
Thank you IFA for all you do! We appreciate the services and knowledge you provide for the betterment of this community.
