Mark Those Calendars!! - April 3, 2015

Now is the time to get out your calendar and mark it so that you don’t miss out on the fun upcoming events scheduled in the next several months!

On Saturday, April 11th we will be hosting the “All About Baby Expo” for one day only!  The event will run from 10:00am-5:00pm and is FREE to the public. All About Baby’s mission is to give unborn, new and young children a voice by empowering parents and caregivers with information, products and services to make the right decisions for their children and the family.

The following weekend, the Dixie Quilt Guild will be at the Dixie Center both Friday, April 17 from 9:00am-6:00pm and Saturday, April 18 from 9am-5pm. During this time the exhibit hall will be open for the public to come view the beautiful handiwork of these lovely ladies. Vendors will be present as part of their exhibiting show.  Cost to attend is $7.00 per person; however, you can get $1.00 off coupons at any of the local quilt stores in the St. George area.

The City of St. George Beauty Pageant will be held in the Ballroom on Saturday, April 18th from noon to 6:00pm, so if you are attending the quilt show you may also want to take a peek at the pageant.

On Monday, April 20th Zion National Park will be hosting an open house for the public in the Garden Room between the hours of 4:00pm-7:00pm.  Be sure to attend, visit with the Rangers, and learn about what is happening at Zion.

On May 9th, an inspirational seminar “When Life Gets Hard—-a Celebration of Trials” will inspire and help you through some of the “harder” moments that life brings to us all. If you would like to plan on attending tickets can be purchased online at:

The “What Women Want” expo will be held both Friday, May 29th and Saturday, May 30th, and ladies, I know you don’t want to miss it, so be sure to set those days aside to attend! Hours for the expo on Friday will be 10:00am-8:00pm and on Saturday from 10:00am-6:00pm. Hint, hint, Kids, Fathers and Husbands, shopping money for Mother’s Day would be a great gift in a card!!

It’s going to be a busy two months, so hope you’ve got that calendar marked!
